Yes, you have the unique opportunity to choose the site of the mobile tented safari camp from a portfolio of various wilderness venues and stunning locations owned by the Aquila Collection.

Yes, our safari tented camp is 100% mobile. Designed to adapt to the Western Cape’s diverse landscapes, if there’s an accessible road and a suitable area large enough to host the camp, our tents can easily be set up on in diverse locations and wildlife reserves owned by the Aquila Collection.

There are currently 75 tents available.

Each cavas tent sleeps up to two guests, sharing.

The mobile safari camp can accommodate up to 150 guests, sharing. 

Yes, each tent is furnished to accommodate up to two guests, sharing. The mobile safari camp is designed for glamping events and large-scale hosting opportunities, so while the amenities and furnishings are made to be easily constructed and deconstructed, every effort and care has been made to ensure a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Each tent has a private, ensuite bathroom. The bathrooms are all fitted with: 

• An ensuite eco-toilet
• An ensuite hot shower
• A basin, mirror and 4-drawer storage cabinet
• Toilet paper
• Complimentary soaps and toiletries

Each tent, designed for double occupancy, is situated on a portable deck equipped with two camping chairs, an overhead lamp, and a unique tent number to allow for easy visibility and navigation at night. 

Each safari tent is equipped with: 

• Twin beds
• Premium mattresses
• Plush duvets and pillows
• Private wooden veranda (stoep)
• USB charging points
• USB powered lamp
• Ensuite eco-toilet
• Hot shower
• Basin, tap and storage unit

The camp does not have an electrical set up, however, USB charging ports and USB powered lamps are equipped throughout the campsite and are available in every tent. This means guests are still able to charge their phones, cameras, and other small electrical devices.

It is important to remember that our mobile safari camps are designed to be 100% portable and eco-friendly, allowing for remote and immersive experiences in the Western Cape’s wilderness. For this reason, certain comforts associated with fixed and permanent camps are not available — although we have taken every measure to provide a solution and maintain a certain level of comfort for your stay.

Cellular reception and signal is entirely dependent on the location of the camp; and the location of the camp is entirely dependent on you. 

However, as the mobile safari camp is designed for guests to immerse themselves in the wilderness and explore remote areas of the Western Cape, having cellular reception or signal is not something guests should count on.

The safari camp is easily dismantled and cleared from all our locations, leaving no trace behind. Embodying the ethos of sustainability and respect for nature, our pop-up tents are designed to be eco-friendly and sustainable.
